What should I do when my refund/reimbursement check has not been received or is lost?
Contact Student Accounts for
student refunds/reimbursements that have not been received or lost. For
other refunds/reimbursements, contact the department that initiated the refund.

What is a fixed asset?
There are several categories of Fixed Assets including Land, Buildings,
Site Improvements and Equipment. The most common asset category to be
addressed by all departments is Equipment.
Equipment with a purchase value of $2,000 or more and a useful life of
two years or more must have an RU identification tag.
All computers regardless of purchase price, will have an RU
identification tag.
All equipment purchased from the Equipment Trust Fund will have an RU
identification tag.

What if the new equipment I receive does not have an RU identification tag?
If you receive a piece of equipment, which meets the criteria for a fixed
asset, but does not have an RU identification tag; please contact Sandy
Beland at sbeland@radford.edu.
Provide the type of fixed asset, exact location and the Purchase Order
number used to obtain it.

Download and complete a Departmental Equipment Change Form from
here for all equipment with an asset I.D. tag.

What should I do if a piece of equipment is missing the asset I.D. tag?
Contact Sandy Beland at sbeland@radford.edu, provide the Asset I.D. Tag
Number, if available, the make, the model and serial number of the item.
We will arrange to have the tag replaced.

Follow the procedures to surplus an item at the following link and complete a
PU19 form.
